About SourApple Vintage

Our Story

It was an unusually warm September day when Lila Maller and Sadie Steiner felt it was time to share their love of fashion and commitment to sustainability with the world. After spending the summer separately developing brands with similar goals, the longtime friends and thrifting partners realized their efforts would go much farther if they worked together. And so, SourApple Vintage was born.

“Clothes hold stories, but often they end tragically, in a landfill, contributing to our growing climate problem. We founded SourApple Vintage with a commitment to continuing those stories–by giving you the chance to add your own chapter.”

Lila Maller, Co-Founder of SourApple Vintage

"I’ve always loved fashion, and when I began pursuing a degree in environmental conservation I realized shopping secondhand is the best way to mitigate damage caused by the fashion industry; that’s why we founded SourApple Vintage with the intention of giving new life to old clothes and allowing our customers to embrace their style sustainably."

How should I care for my vintage clothes?

Each item is different, but your best bet is to follow the washing instructions on the tag. When in doubt or if the tag is missing, wash cold and air dry to extend the items life as much as possible.

What sizes does SourApple Vintage carry?

Our goal is to help everyone embrace their style sustainably, no matter their size. We hand-source all of our inventory and strive to offer items in a wide range of sizes.
